AAMC 2015
One of the objectives of the 11th Asian Academy of Management International Conference 2015 is to encourage collaborative research and projects amongst institutions of higher learning and industries in addressing the issues of “Embracing Innovation and Creativity: Towards Sustainability and Inclusive Growth”. In addition, this conference seeks to establish networking opportunities among the academicians, practitioners, government officials and the community. We hope that the AAM International Conference will continuously provide a platform for scholars and practitioners to share research ideas in various areas. The total number of papers received for this year’s conference was around 200 papers and only 184 papers were selected to be presented. These papers came from all over the world, including Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Iran, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Jordon, Nigeria, Oman, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and USA.
The 11th Asian Academy of Management International Conference 2015 featured the Economic Forum with Majlis Profesor Negara (MPN) as the highlight of the conference. Prominent speakers were invited to deliberate on a special issue titled “Achieving High Income Economy in 2020: An Assessment of Strategic Initiatives”. The forum exposed the participants of the conference to issues that revolve around the contracting of the global economy, decreasing oil price, the country’s GDP, the 11th Malaysia Plan and Vision 2020.
